Veterinary Technicians & Assistants

Caylee
Caylee
Veterinary Technician
My name is Caylee and I am a Veterinary Assistant at R Veterinary at Cross Creek in Waynesville. Although my job gets crazy sometimes, my favorite thing about my job is assisting with surgical procedures. I chose to work in veterinary medicine because I want to give a voice to the voiceless, and spread kindness through my work.
Maggie

Maggie has always had a soft spot for animals, and caring for them is something she finds genuinely rewarding. She especially loves dogs and enjoys the opportunity to help pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Outside of work, Maggie loves spending time with her own dogs. They’re a big part of her life and a reminder of why the little things we do for pets and their families matter so much.
Bri
Bri
Veterinary Assistant
Bri has a genuine love for animals, especially cats and horses, and that love is a big part of what drew her to veterinary medicine. She enjoys getting to know each patient as an individual and helping pets and their families feel comfortable and cared for along the way. When she’s not caring for patients, Bri especially enjoys spending time around horses and cats. Her compassion, patience, and love for animals show in the way she approaches both her work and the people she serves.
Amber
Amber
Veterinary Assistant
My name is Amber, and I graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. After college, I took what I thought would be a summer job at a boarding kennel. That “summer job” turned into the beginning of a career I truly love and ultimately led me to where I am today. In 2021, I joined the R Veterinary team and have had the opportunity to hold several different positions within the clinic. I currently serve as the Patient Care Technician at RVet in Waynesville. In this role, I help support my coworkers, keep the clinic running smoothly, and, most importantly, make sure our patients receive the care that goes beyond their medical needs. I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to give extra love, comfort, and attention to every patient who walks through our doors. I have a particular soft spot for the weird, scruffy, quirky, and wonderfully different cats and dogs we get to meet! Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our little zoo of pets. My love for animals is a huge part of who I am, and I’m grateful that I get to make that passion a part of my everyday life.
